A small mountain village in a deep valley between the mighty forested slopes of the crests of Ostrý and Kozubová. It is a typical mountain recreation village with 370 inhabitants.

It is surrounded by deep forests which represent a real mushroom paradise. Many mountain springs rise here presenting a source of extraordinary quality drinking water.
