Šelenburk - Ruin of castle [ Castle or ruin of castle ]
The ruins of the gothic castle of Cvilín, also called Šelenburk, dates back to the first half of the 13th century. The castle was built on the site of the prehistoric settlement of the Urn Field People. It was badly damaged by raids of the army of Matyás Corvinus, the Hungarian king, and after construction of the princely castle in Krnov it was abandoned.
